Coat - F21 | Blouse - Banana Republic (Thrifted) | Jeans - F21 | Socks - UO | Boots - H&M --------------------------------------------------- This is what I would wear (and did wear) to a nice dinner! I generally don't wear skirts or dresses to restaurants, so I usually pair some dark/neutral jeans and a blouse. This time, I went for gray jeans and a black blouse. I tucked in only one side of the blouse for some contrast. Since I rolled up my jeans above the boots, I added some mesh socks. They can be dressed up or down easily. Also, they create a cleaner line, since the outfit is broken by bits of skin showing. (They also help keep me warm!) The boots are one of my fave items at the moment! They look so sophisticated and chic. To top it off, I grabbed a long faux fur coat for warmth. I think a longer coat looks more dressed up! For my hair, I did straight with a middle part (my usual.) My makeup was done with the UD Naked 2 Basics and Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien. |

Jacket - London | Top - Boutique | Jeans - F21 | Boots - H&M ----------------------------- As soon as these boots arrived I had to style them! They are so gorgeous. They're a bit taller than I usually get, but I think they look very sophisticated. For anyone planning on buying them, you might want to try a size up. I'm normally an 8, and these are almost too small! Anyone who says you can't wear gray on gray is crazy. Gray can look great with more gray, the same shade or different. This is a great winter-spring transition outfit. I was inspired to create during some random warm days! The jacket can easily be removed, but the jeans and boots leave some warmth. In contrast, the crop top makes this outfit more summery and heat-friendly The letterman jacket is just a tourist-y piece I bought when I was in London. The top is something I picked up a while ago from a boutique. :) |
