I just got some new pieces from Forever 21 that I'm really excited about! This top is one of them. I also got a tee and a casual dress. (These will be featured in something I'm doing soon!)
So this plaid skirt has become a very common piece in my outfits! It's one of few skirts and dresses I have. As the weather is getting warmer, I find it keeps me a lot cooler to wear skirts rather than pants or shorts. It's also much easier to find skirts that fit school dress codes. I paired this tight tee and my skirt with some simple wedges. I only put on minimal jewelry.
For my hair, I just straightened it and did a deep side part. My makeup was done with the Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics palette.

As spring is approaching and the weather is getting warmer in a lot of places, I thought I'd style a transition outfit! I stuck to my usual all black (I don't really do spring colors.) The duster coat adds a bit of warmth, but the crop top and shorts can keep you cool! If it is a bit colder, you could swap out the shorts for distressed boyfriend jeans.
My hair is just air dried waves. I think waves are a good style for spring and summer. I didn't put on jewelry, but I think rings and statement necklaces in silver look great with all black and look great for spring!

This is one of my favorite outfits! I've worn it a few ways (with tights and different boots) but I like this one the best. IT's great for dress codes, because the skirt is high waisted enough that crop top is passable. Since I got a flannel that is long enough to wear with this skirt, I wear them together all the time. I added my Missguided boots for height.
The bag is my first item from Zara. It just big enough to fit everything I need, and no bigger. It was a great price and is great quality. I got it on my trip as well as some other pieces (look for a haul video soon!)
These boots are some of  my absolute faves! They are so comfortable and chic. I honestly got them because they remind me of some Saint Laurent ones. While I was in Chicago I wore them all day (and did a lot of walking) and my feet were barely tired.!
For my hair, I straightened it with a middle part. My lipstick is the Nars Pure Matte Lipstick in Volga. It goes on really well, especially with a lipliner. I'm hoping to get it in some more shades soon.
