Sweater - Old Navy | SKirt -H&M | Boots - H&M | Black Socks
--------------------------------
Merry Christmas! Today I had both a Christmas brunch and dinner to attend. It was strangely warm today, so I decided to wear a skirt and festive sweater. I've been told the sweater colors are quite Christmas-y. I also opted for the socks, as I got them Christmas morning. As it wasn't very cold, (it was a bit hot actually) I didn't go for tights. However, this could easily be warmed up with some thick tights.
Of course, I had to pair this with a classic red lip for extra Xmas flair!

Dress - Charlotte Russe | Coat - H&M | Shoes - Rue21 | Black Tights
----------------------------
Happy Thanksgiving! Today I was going to a family Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. I don't really wear "fall" colors so I decided to keep it pretty monochrome.  The dress is a mix of black and white, and I brought in more white with the boots. I have an obsession with ankle boots!
The tights are for more warmth and because this dress was shorter than I remembered! My make up was a bit more dramatic; I created a bit of a smokey eye with smudged eyeliner and some silver shadow. I kept my hair natural since I thought it looked fine and I didn't have much time! xx

Tee - Alexander Wang X H&M | Jeans - AE | Jacket - Old Navy | Sneakers - H&M | Bag - Alexander Wang X H&M
------------------------------------------
Finally styling my new pieces! It warmed up a bit today (it's been freezing) so I only needed a tee and my light denim jacket. The jacket gave sufficient protection from the slight chill and rain. I went for all black under the jacket, with my jeans rolled up over my sneakers.
I absolutely love the drawstring bag! It has a lot of space; it definitely has room for a jacket and an umbrella. It would be great for festivals or concerts.
(By the way, sorry these pictures are a bit grainy. It was really dark in my room!)

Top - Free People | Jeans - American Eagle | Boots - H&M | Fedora - Forever 21 | Tote- LancĂ´me
------------------------------
I styled this to show off my new top. It is very detailed, with many holes, a high-low look, and the appearance of being inside out. I tucked in the front, but it is shorter than the back. I wore my blue jeans to avoid going all black. I love wearing my chunky boots with jeans because it makes my legs look longer.
I had to put on my fedora of course ( I love it so much !). And I thought I'd grab my black tote as it is quite large. Big bags are stylish and practical. I parted my hair in the middle, as I think it looks good with a hat.

My items from the Alexander Wang x H&M collection arrived! I'm so pleased with them. Pictured here is my sunglasses case, with came with the sunglasses that say WANG on the side. These came in a lovely box I plan to keep! The t-shirt dress in the second picture is amazing quality. The fabric is a bit jersey like and very comfortable. I got it in an XS but it is nicely over sized.
I also purchased a black and white beanie that also says WANG. It is quite thick and will be great for the winter months! And in my package there was also a drawstring bag with the logos for Alexander Wang and H&M. It was a lovely surprise!
I can't wait to style all these pieces!

Top - Charlotte Russe | Skirt - H&M | Coat - Forever 21 | Wedges - X Appeal | Necklace - H&M
-------------------------------------
I had been waiting to style this skirt! I think heels always go well with a midi so I slipped on my suede wedges. The top is high necked and cropped; a chic combination. It is fairly see through, but I don't mind that much. I also kept my coat on most of the night. I also added my gold cuff for some extra embellishment.

Romper - Urban Outfitters | Sweater - American Eagle | Sneakers - H&M | Hat - Forever 21
------------------------------------
It was chilly today, but not too chilly. I wanted to wear my floral romper, as I haven't in a while. To keep warm, I threw this oatmeal colored sweater over it. I decided it was warm enough that I didn't need tights. The fedora is a piece that can be added to almost any outfit. So I grabbed it as well! This is a comfortable outfit that can be worn all day.

ART IS NOT DONE

Coat - Forever 21 | White Tee - Target | Blue Jeans - American Eagle | Sneakers - H&M | Gray Beanie - Thrifted | Rings - Garage
---------------------------------------
Today I was enlisted to help out a friend with a photography project. She had to model her photos after another photographer's. We did pictures of people in the street, but it was very cold so no one else was really out and about.
As it was quite wintery, I immediately went for my fur coat. I styled a simple outfit underneath of a white tee and jeans. I dressed it up with rings and necklaces. I chose my black platform sneakers since we would be walking around a lot. Even with my layers, I was still very cold!

Shirt - IZOD | Jeans - American Eagle | Shoes - Nicole | Watch - Charlotte Russe
--------------------------
At first I just threw this on for comfort, but half way through the day I decided it was a bit "campus" like. It has some masculinity to it, which I like. I always find inspiration from TV and film, so this look is a little inspired by Gossip Girl. The character Nate Archibald's style reminds me of this outfit.
I also thought it could be a quick Halloween costume. All day people said my shirt looked like a Harry Potter shirt, so I found my wand. And now I'm a wizard!

Blouse - Banana Republic | Skirt - H&M | Socks - Garage | Shoe - Natural Soles | Fedora - Forever 21
-------------------------------------------
My second Halloween party outfit for this year! I decided to go as Taissa Farmiga's character, Zoe, from American Horror Story: Coven. My first thought : ALL BLACK. And a fedora, of course. So, I put this look together. Zoe wore flowy, but put together outfits. I chose a skirt similar to one she wore on the show, and added a silk blouse. I think the thigh highs add warmth, and even more of a witchy vibe. The lace up heels and wide brimmed hat complete the look.
A short black dress and a long black coat would also be a great Coven look!

Top - Forever 21 | Vest - Wet Seal | Jeans - American Eagle | Boots - H&M | Paper Plane Necklace - Etsy
--------------------------------------
I have been planning this outfit since I bought this leather vest! I like the combining prints and textures whenever I style and all black outfit. In this outfit, I have the leather of the vest (and the fringe) and the floral pattern of the top. My boots also have a soft leather look to them.
This is a great outfit for a casual dinner or a party.

Coat - H&M | Shirt - Thrifted | Jeans - American Eagle | Boots - Unlisted | Fedora - Forever 21
--------------------------------------------
Tonight I had a bit of fun at a Halloween party! The theme was "someone famous born on your birthday. Although Harry Styles isn't actually born on the same day as me (only the same month) I decided to cheat a little and go as him anyways!
So this is basically a 2013 Harry Styles inspired outfit. He wore brown leather boots and flannels often, and long black coats. My hair is a little curly, and actually about the same length as his. Happy Almost Halloween! :)

Band Tee - Thrifted | Jeans - American Eagle | Duster Coat - Forever 21 | Sneakers - Converse
I absolutely love styling any kind of band shirt! I usually wear them super casual but I dressed it up a bit. The duster coat and gold watch amp it up to edgy chic. Left my hair natural, save for a couple sprays of salt spray. I threw on my converse for comfort!
I think a duster coat is an wardrobe staple, especially for winter/fall! They can range from thick and warm to thin and breezy. This one is a bit thinner than I expected, but it is great to wear on slightly warm days. It could also be worn into summer!
