As spring is approaching and the weather is getting warmer in a lot of places, I thought I'd style a transition outfit! I stuck to my usual all black (I don't really do spring colors.) The duster coat adds a bit of warmth, but the crop top and shorts can keep you cool! If it is a bit colder, you could swap out the shorts for distressed boyfriend jeans.
My hair is just air dried waves. I think waves are a good style for spring and summer. I didn't put on jewelry, but I think rings and statement necklaces in silver look great with all black and look great for spring!

I call this look: "accepting my schoolgirl aesthetic." I love everything to do with plaid skirts, knee highs and ankle boots. (basically anything Blair wore on Gossip Girl!) Therefore this is a pretty classic look for me. Since it's been warmer lately, I decided against tights, but I still brought my duster. I was glad I did, since it ended up being a bit rainy and cold. Also, wearing a long coat might help you get way with something that's a little bit under dress code!
My new boots from Missguided arrived! I'm so happy with them. They look beautiful and I've gotten lots of compliments. This was my first time ordering from them , but I had heard good things. They arrived according the shipping described on their website and in perfect condition!
My nail polish is Formula X in 'Monumental.'

Finally a good scarf! I think at least one warm scarf is a wardrobe staple. I don't generally wear scarves for looks, I wear them to keep out the cold! (it has been VERY cold lately!) Pairing it with a coat and boots helped as well.
Since the scarf has a nice pattern, I kept the rest of my outfit quite simple. I threw on one of my fave combos of a grey tee and my indigo jeans. These aren't my favorite pair of jeans, but I couldn't resist the price. I have another pair in grey, and just ordered some in black. Forever 21 is great for cheap wardrobe staples.
My hair was straight, but day old. I kept my make up simple as well, but adding a bold lip color could take this outfit to another level!

I had been waiting to style this skirt! I think heels always go well with a midi so I slipped on my suede wedges. The top is high necked and cropped; a chic combination. It is fairly see through, but I don't mind that much. I also kept my coat on most of the night. I also added my gold cuff for some extra embellishment.

Today I was enlisted to help out a friend with a photography project. She had to model her photos after another photographer's. We did pictures of people in the street, but it was very cold so no one else was really out and about.
As it was quite wintery, I immediately went for my fur coat. I styled a simple outfit underneath of a white tee and jeans. I dressed it up with rings and necklaces. I chose my black platform sneakers since we would be walking around a lot. Even with my layers, I was still very cold!

Tonight I had a bit of fun at a Halloween party! The theme was "someone famous born on your birthday. Although Harry Styles isn't actually born on the same day as me (only the same month) I decided to cheat a little and go as him anyways!
So this is basically a 2013 Harry Styles inspired outfit. He wore brown leather boots and flannels often, and long black coats. My hair is a little curly, and actually about the same length as his. Happy Almost Halloween! :)

The colors look lovely with the blue/gray sweater. Black jeans and black boots create a clean line; the colors and the high heel make my legs look a lot longer. The jeans are a little bunched, which adds dimension and makes the look more casual. This outfit could be worn to a low-key lunch or a more upscale dinner. :)
